Do you judge others simply because they are not like you? Do you find every detail that you think is "wrong?"
I would find myself judging others who are not believers. I would pick out their sins, flaws, and almost trying to shove God's Word down their throat. In my mind I thought since I am a believer I should only be friends with other believers, or I would try to get my friends to become believers. You can't judge others because even YOU have flaws. I know you probably don't want to believe it but I'm speaking truth here. God is love and when you accept God in your life you have to spread his love. Be Christ like. Be kind, spread the love around, pray and use God as your strength and guidance and soon enough, in God's time (not ours!) they will want what you have!
If you hung out with believers all day long you would never save anyone. You need to find those who need the saving, the sinners who don't know God yet. We need to reach out to those in need who think they don't need the saving!
Mark 2:15-17
That night Levi invited Jesus and his disciples to be his dinner guests, along with his fellow tax collectors and many other notorious sinners. (There were many people of this kind among the crowds that followed Jesus.) But when some of the teachers of religious law who were Pharisees* saw him eating with people like that, they said to his disciples, "Why does he eat with such scum*?
When Jesus heard this, he told them, "Healthy people don't need a doctor-- sick people do. I have come to call sinners, not those who think they are already good enough."
Now, you don't have to talk to them about God all the time. Just be kind and ask them how their day went. Then if they have problems help them, pray with them, pray FOR them! Give them verses from the bible that has to do with their situation. God can do amazing things if you just be kind and let him work through you. Just because someone is not like you don't mean you can't be nice. They are after all God's creation. No two humans are alike ya know. Everyone has different styles, interest, and hobbies. You need to ask yourself every day "what am I doing to make others happy?" Do what you can and ask God to do the rest!
